2018 Highlights: MegaCountry’s Top Five Tours of the Year

These artists toured across the country and into your hearts!


Every year country artists put on some of the most impressive shows and packed touring schedules. Take a look back at some of your favorites!

1. Jason Aldean: The High Noon Neon Tour

Jason Aldean’s High Noon Neon Tour lasted 34 dates this summer, hitting amphitheaters all over the country. To open his packed shows, Aldean brought Luke Combs and Lauren Alaina out on the road as well. The star played tracks from his latest smash album, Rearview Town, like “Gettin’ Warmed Up” as well as classics like “Hicktown” and “Amarillo Sky.”

2. Shania Twain: The NOW World Tour

Shania Twain’s NOW World Tour was her first world tour in 15 years, lasted 77 dates and pulled out all the stops! From intense choreographed routines to all new visuals and production, fans and critics alike raved about the shows. Plus, with a set list packed with tracks like “Come On Over,” “Honey I’m Home,” and “Man! I Feel Like a Woman,” it’s impossible to have anything but an amazing time.

3. Dierks Bentley: The Mountain High Tour

Dierks Bentley had a wild year – from launching his Seven Peaks Festival in Colorado to embarking on his Mountain High Tour, Bentley and fans embraced the outdoor theme in stride. For his 31-date tour Bentley brought out special guests Brothers Osborne and LANCO and played crowd favorites “Drunk On A Plane,” “5-1-5-0,” and “Burning Man.”

4. Keith Urban: The Graffiti U World Tour

Keith Urban stayed busy throughout 2018 on his Graffiti U World Tour, traveling to 58 cities across the U.S. and Canada in 2018 with supporting acts Kelsea Ballerini and Lindsay Ell. Don’t worry, this top tour isn’t over! Fans in Europe and Australia and will get to see final tour dates January through March next year and enjoy singles like “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16,” “Cop Car” and “Somebody Like You.”

5. Cam: The Thrill of It All Tour

Cam’s had quite the year, highlighted by collaborating and touring with Sam Smith on his headlining The Thrill of It All Tour. As an opener, Cam certainly gained fans playing 22 dates in the U.S. and Mexico. With powerful singles like “Diane,” “The Road to Happiness” and “Mayday,” it’s no wonder Cam’s already lining up an impressive 2019 with worldwide tour dates on C2C: Country to Country Festival and a Stagecoach set.
