Instagram Roundup: Halloweens Past

Get inspired for the spooky holiday with highlights from country's Halloween past!

It’s officially October, which means Halloween is this month! To celebrate, we’re taking a trip down memory lane through country music’s past Halloweens.

Scroll through the Instagram Roundup gallery above to see your favorites like Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett, Miranda Lambert, Dolly Parton, Brett Eldredge, and more in costume over the past five Halloweens.

Our oldest photo dates back to 2013, when Brett Eldredge dressed as Reno 911’s Lieutenant Dangle on tour, short-shorts and all! In 2014, Miranda Lambert spread a message of female empowerment, dressing as Rosie the Riveter. Her post reads, “we CAN do it!” We’re hoping she brings another empowering costume out for Halloween 2018. Moving to 2015, Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins dressed up as Woodie and Jessie from Toy Story while out on tour. In 2016, the Akins killed the costume game again, in full skeleton makeup and more. Halloween 2016 also featured Jason Aldean’s epic makeup take on the Joker.

Last year, some notable costumes included Dolly Parton as Veruca Salt, Shay Mooney as Buzz Lightyear, and Carrie Underwood as a deer. We can’t wait to see what the country music community has in store for this Halloween! Stay tuned to find out.
