If a destination music festival is on your bucket list (and why wouldn't it be?), then grab your piggy bank because Zac Brown Band has announced their return to Castaway with Southern Ground in the Riviera Maya, Mexico in early 2017.
ZBB and a host of their musical friends will gather for four full nights of music, food and luxurious livin' from January 30 until February 3. What musical friends, you ask? Rodrigo y Gabriela, Toots & The Maytals, JJ Grey & Mofro, Drake White & The Big Fire, Margo Price and Muddy Magnolias. As of an announcement today, Nahko & Medicine For The People will not be performing, and will instead be replaced by “80s Mercedes" singer Maren Morris. All that AND two full concerts from Zac Brown Band.
Ah, but there's more. Artist-hosted activities and workshops, signings, daily yoga and theme nights are on the agenda, and all meals, beverages, concerts and activities are included in the event package price.
Pre-sale begins this Wednesday, July 27 and public onsale begins July 28th.
You don't have to take our word for it's inherent awesomeness–last year there were dance classes, songwriting workshops, Texas Hold 'Em tournaments, a tequila tasting and more. Just check out this recap video:
