The couple tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in Franklin, Tennessee surrounded by their closet friends and family.

Kane Brown and his fiancée Katelyn Jae, were married on Friday evening, October 12, outside of Nashville. According to People, the two were wed in Franklin, Tennessee at Mint Springs Farm, surrounded by 200 of their closest friends and family members.

The couple’s pastor officiated, while their wedding party was comprised of both Jae’s family and Brown’s bandmates and friends, including singer-songwriter Taylor Phillips. As for wedding vows, the couple decided to give one another handwritten letters and say more traditional vows in-front of their guests, “We decided to exchange letters to each other earlier in the day and keep the actual vows a little more traditional,” they said.

Katelyn Jae described her gown as “simple, comfortable and understated — but with a kick.” She adds, “I went to a few bridal shops and this was probably the fourth dress I tried. I just loved everything about it. I didn’t want a ton of extra fabric; I wanted something sleek and simple and this fit the bill.” The venue was a lush event space and seamlessly perfect for the couple’s desire for a ceremony that felt “like an enchanted forest” with a color palette of greens and fall colors. “We wanted something here in Nashville and loved the idea of having it at home and not traveling since we are on the road so much,” the pair said of the wedding and reception venue. “It’s not too rural but has so many elements of nature — a huge lake, rolling hills, trees. It’s just beautiful out there.”

As for the honeymoon, the newlyweds wanted a destination that would allow them some needed relaxation after an incredibly eventful and successful year. “We chose someplace that we both love and can just completely relax and spend time appreciating nature, each other — and no cell service!” they said.

The country sensation spontaneously proposed to his now wife on Easter Sunday 2017, while they were watching The Amityville Horror, a movie about newlyweds who move into a house where a mass murder has been committed. “I just couldn’t wait,” he later told People of popping the question.

We couldn’t be happier for the new couple and wish them a lifelong of happiness together!
