With memorable performances, show-stoping moments and a heartfelt tribute that touched the entire country community, here are the High Notes!

Country star Jake Owen is on the ride of his life (literally) as he performs on his Life’s What You Make It Tour! Recently, (September 28), the singer made a stop at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles and used his arsenal of hit songs to convert the SoCal crowd into die-hard country fans. Owen’s setlist included his most notable tunes, including “I Was Jack (You Were Diane),” “Down To The Honky Tonk,” “My LA Ex,” “Made For You” and his smash “Barefoot Blue Jean Night.” The country artist is known for his dynamic performances and with just a splash of summer heat with his country charm, Owen proved he is the perfect performer to spend a warm Friday night with!

With memorable performances, show-stoping moments and a heartfelt tribute that touched the entire country community, here are the High Notes!

Owen opened the show with “American Country Love Song,” an upbeat tune that immediately pumped up the audience and kept the high energy going for most of the night. When he did decide to slow things down, Owen stood on a smaller platform in the middle of the crowd surrounded by twinkle lights, making the performances feel incredibly intimate. During the show, the singer addressed a few important friends that have stuck by him throughout his career and even paid a touching tribute to the victims of the tragic Route 91 shooting. In honor of the one year mark of the deadly attack, Owen asked for a moment of silence and had the audience reflect on their own live as well as how thankful he was to have them all their to enjoy his music. He concluded the memorial by thanking his fans for allowing him to do what he loves and couldn’t be more grateful for his time onstage. Moving forward, the country star pulled on all our heart strings by playing “Made For You.”

As the night continued, Owen ran through the audience, high fiving fans on his way back onto the stage, and began singing his catchy tune “Pass A Beer.” In response, the crowd raised their various beverages and were ready to party by the time he pulled out his hits “BYOB,” “Beachin” and “The One That Got Away.” Owen closed out the night with an encore performance, playing “My LA Ex” and “I Was Jack ( You Were Diane),” before finally playing his show-stopper “Barefoot Blue Jean Night.”

Not only did the country sensation give a memorable performance, but he also had an amazing opener! Rome (of Sublime with Rome), who began releasing music back in 2011, has recently gained new momentum from his 2018 single “Wicked Heart,” and has a rock/reggae vibe that pairs perfectly with Owen’s new age rock country sound. Rome warmed up the crowd and had the audience ready to dance as soon as the main artist hit the stage! In addition to his opening performance, Rome joined Owen onstage later as a backup guitarist during Owen’s “Yeehaw,” and had the crowd shouting out along to the song.

Sublime with Rome has a few live tour dates coming up and after seeing Rome as a solo act, we are dying to see the full band perform together!

Jake Owen will be continuing to tour the country through November and you won’t want to miss a chance to see him live! For more information on the artist and tour locations, click HERE
