The Voice is creating it’s first-ever Comeback Stage companion series with music superstar Kelsea Ballerini serving as the reality show’s fifth coach.
The reality competition will kick off its 15th season on Monday, September 24, at 8PM with coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Clarkson, and launch the new series, Comeback Stage, on YouTube, The Voice Official App, Instagram TV, Facebook and NBC.com on the same day. Ballerini’s role will include mentoring six artists who auditioned for the show during the Blind Auditions, but did not make a team. The six Comeback Artists will compete for a chance to re-enter The Voice’s main competition and earn a spot in the Top 13 live shows that begin in November.
The country star took to her Instagram to share the exciting news, “Y’all, I have been SO excited to share that I’m joining The Voice family this fall as the 5th coach for the first ever “Comeback Stage”. It’s been such a new, fulfilling challenge and I’ve been beyond inspired by the artists I’ve gotten to meet and work with,” Kelsea shared. “I can’t wait for you to fall in love with them!”
The Voice and Comeback Stage both premiere on Monday, September 24 and the Comeback Stage will be 10 episodes.
