Brooks is a seminal artist, having claimed the position of CMA Entertainer Of The Year six times. He remains the #1-selling solo artist in U.S. history certified by the RIAA and has 148 million album sales. He has earned  nearly every honor the music industry can bestow on a musician, receiving countless awards and claiming his spot as a member of the Songwriters Hall Of Fame, Country Music Hall Of Fame and Musicians Hall Of Fame.
