The Country-Filled Hollywood Walk Of Fame Class Of 2019 Is Here!
From Dolly to Faith, see which of your favorite stars are being honored on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Hollywood Walk of Fame is adding more country stars with the class of 2019. Faith Hill is joining the ranks, alongside the Trio: Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt.
Hill will be receiving her first star, while Parton, Harris and Ronstadt will be inducted together as a trio.
As for Dolly Parton, this is her second star on the Walk of Fame, making her the first woman to receive two stars on the walkway. She received her first star on the walkway in 1984.
Parton said, “I am so excited that I have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Well, not just me, but with two of my best friends, Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris, for the Trio. Now, they tell me that I’m the first person this century—the first woman—to have two stars. Of course that’s natural. I like to do things in pairs, if you know what I mean. But I really am exited, so thank you.”
“The Walk of Fame Selection Committee is pleased to announce our newest honorees to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Committee always tries to select a group of talented honorees that appeal in various genres of the entertainment world,” says Chairman and Walk of Famer Vin Di Bona in a statement. “I feel the Committee has outdone themselves, and I know the fans, tourists and the Hollywood community will be pleased with our selections. We are excited to see each and every honoree’s face as they unveil that majestic star on Hollywood’s most famous walkway!”
Other stars being inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame class of 2019 include Kristen Bell, Robert De Niro, Guy Fieri, Candice Bergen, P!nk, Cypress Hill, Idina Menzel, Paul Sorvino, and others.
The official induction ceremony dates have not been announced. More information about the Hollywood Walk of Fame can be found here.
