LANCO Featured In Spotify’s RISE Campaign
Breakthrough country band LANCO is one of several up-and-coming artists highlighted in Spotify's second chapter of their RISE campaign, their artist development program that supports up-and-coming artists across different genres and even gives fans a glimpse into their lives through various platforms.
The Sony-signed band LANCO (short for Lancaster and Company) will be the first of four artists featured in this second wave of RISE artists. Each of these emerging artists will be in the spotlight for two weeks, complete with artist-specific playlists, original recording sessions with unique collaborators called “RISE Recordings", and more. In addition to LANCO, the RISE campaign will also feature R&B artist Jorja Smith, Latin singer Karol G, and indie artist Rex Orange County.

“When we were kids, putting together our first band and writing our first songs, our dream was to be able to eventually play them for people," said lead singer Brandon Lancaster. “Spotify RISE is helping us make that dream a reality. By telling our stories through our music and through our entire creative process, we're able to connect to our fans and grow the LANCO community in a deeper way than we could have ever imagined."

LANCO broke records with their debut coming-of-age album Hallelujah Nights; they became the first country group to debut on the Billboard Country albums charts at number one in 10 years. The band consists of Lancaster, Chandler Baldwin on bass guitar, Jared Hampton on keyboards, Tripp Howell on drums, and Eric Steedly on guitar.
