Dierks Bentley Performs ‘Woman, Amen’ On ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’
This past Thursday, April 19, Dierks Bentley brought his new single “Woman, Amen" to the Jimmy Kimmel Live stage. The romantic anthem highlight's Bentley's love towards the special ladies in his life, but most inspired by his wife of 12 years, Cassidy Black.
According to the country star, it was love from first listen. “I heard it and I just thought 'I don't know what that is, but I just love what it says,'" Bentley describes of “Woman, Amen." “It just felt different, which is what I'm always trying to find. I love the message, it's very direct, very honest for me and my relationship with my wife." And when it comes to his marriage and relationship with his wife, Bentley adds, "The more life goes on, the more we just grow closer and closer and I'm just more grateful for her. She has more vision in some ways, as most women do. So I feel like the song is very personal, very honest, very direct, but it's also very universal.“
