The beloved reality completion The Voice is shaking things up for its latest season.
For the first time ever, coaches Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton have recruited former Voice champions to help the latest round of contestants navigate and hopefully win the competition. Past winners Cassadee Pope, Jordan Smith, Chris Blue and Chloe Kohanski will serve as advisers for the coaches during the Knockout Rounds beginning Monday, April 2 (8PM ET/PT).
Grammy-award nominee and Season 3 winner Cassadee Pope, who is releasing new music on Friday, March 30, will advise Team Kelly and couldn't be anymore excited. “Spending the day with Kelly was a dream come true," Pope exclaimed in a recent interview with Sounds Like Nashville. “I've been a fan of hers forever, like since the first audition on American Idol I've loved her, and I've met her on a few occasions, got to sing with her on The Voice during my season, but to spend that much time with her and get to know her was really awesome because she's just one of the nicest, down to earth people I've ever met, and I even learned some stuff from her from her mentoring the teams. It was fun."
The country singer also shared in press release, “Going back to The Voice is like coming home. It was such an honor to give advice to these incredible artists alongside Kelly. Having done exactly what they're doing, I felt this urge to let them know the nerves are normal and to just breathe through it all. If a past 'Voice' winner came back to advise me during my season, it would've been extremely welcomed! I can't wait for everyone to see these artists in action."
