Country Winners At The 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards

While the iHeartRadio Music Awards highlights a variety musicians from different genres, our favorites to mention have to be the country stars!

Showcased in three different categories throughout the night, country took home awards for “Country Artist of the Year," “Best New Country Artist" and “Country Song of the Year." And while he may have not have won, Luke Combs was the country music representative in the general “Best New Artist" category, featured with artists such as Cardi B, Niall Horan, Christian Nodal, Judah & the Lion, Ozuna and Khalid!

Combs didn’t go home empty handed, however, winning “Best New Country Artist" and beating out Brett Young, Jon Pardi, Kane Brown and Lauren Alaina. “Thank you @iheartradio and all my fans! I'm honored to win Best New Country Artist at the #iHeartAwards," Combs wrote in an Instagram post.

Up against fellow superstars Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan and Sam Hunt, Thomas Rhett was the big winner of the night, snagging the “Country Artist of the Year" award. Overwhelmed by the exciting accolade, Rhett took to Instagram to share his surprise and gratitude to earn such an award. “Completely blown away by this award," Rhett wrote in his post. “Thank you @iheartradio for your constant support and for naming me Country Artist of the Year during a time filled with so much incredible talent in country music."

And no surprise here, Sam Hunt took home “Country Song of the Year" for his massive hit “Body Like a Backroad." See who else won in the list below!
