For the second year in a row, legendary country artist Willie Nelson has decided to surprise us with the gift of new music.
Nelson will release his 73rd album Last Man Standing on April 27, two days before the singer turns 85. The 11-track album will feature never heard before songs, all written by Nelson and collaborator/producer Buddy Cannon, whom Nelson has also worked with on his previous album, God's Problem Child.

With over 100 singles underneath his belt, “Last Man Standing" is the country singer's latest release. The song and sepia-toned music video, which dropped Friday, February 16, is a promising surprise for fans who have been concerned over Nelson's recent health scares. The “Still Not Dead" singer recently canceled his January and February tour dates due to the flu, where his doctor advised that he have time to recuperate to “give the performances you all love seeing," according to Nelson's rep.
The country icon has since rescheduled some of his canceled tour dates, and we hope to see some of these new tracks on the setlist. We also can't wait to hear the rest of the album!
