Miranda Lambert To Bring Raw Performances To ‘Front and Center’
The eighth season of Front and Center on PBS begins this Friday, February 2, with none other than Miranda Lambert. In partnership with the Country Music Association and CMA Songwriter Series, Front and Center will bring Lambert, alongside her The Weight of These Wings collaborators, to your TV. They will share the stories behind the songs and play stripped-down versions of your favorite tracks.
Shane McAnally joined Lambert for an incredibly raw performance of “Vice," the lead-single he cowrote with Lambert and Josh Osborne. This emotional moment of the episode has already been released and it's safe to say we're in for a treat for the rest of the episode. Watch the clip of “Vice" below.
Lambert will be joined by many of her prominent collaborators like Jessi Alexander, Brent Cobb, Luke Dick, Natalie Hemby, Adam Hood, Jack Ingram, Shane McAnally, Waylon Payne, Aaron Raitiere, Jon Randall, Liz Rose, Gwen Sebastian and Scotty Wray. Anderson East will even take the stage with Lambert, a moment you most certainly won't want to miss. Perhaps the most anticipated collaboration of the show, Miranda Lambert's dad, Rick Lambert, will perform “Greyhound Bound for Nowhere" together, the song they cowrote for her 2005 debut album.
Check local listings for the special and all future episodes of Front and Center HERE. Future episodes are set to collaborate with CMA and feature artists like Kane Brown, Luke Combs, and Clint Black. See Lambert's performance of “Highway Vagabond" from Front and Center below, then tune-in on Friday to see what magic the whole episode has in store!
