If you made it to Mexico this past weekend for Luke Bryan's Crash My Playa, then you experienced one of the year's most anticipated and fun country musical events.
The four-day festival took place in Riviera Maya, Mexico kicking off Wednesday, January 17 and wrapped on Saturday, January 20, with a closing performance by Bryan. The country sensation had an envious lineup, including Maren Morris, Ryan Hurd, Maggie Rose, Dusting Lynch, The Cadillac Three, DJ Rock, Adam Craig, Kendall Marvel, Sam Hunt and Blake Shelton with a special appearance by pop sensation Gwen Stefani. Shelton's headlining set was heavy on the hits as well as the PDA with girlfriend Stefani, who appeared onstage for a surprise performance of her throwback hit “Hollaback Girl."
And because Shelton and Bryan are such good friends, Bryan decided to pay Shelton the ultimate compliment. Since imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, Bryan rose to the occasion by dressing up as old-school Blake, complete with mullet, cowboy hat, and giant belt buckle. And of course added a drink in hand for good measure.
“Vintage BS," Bryan's Insatgram caption read.
