Back in 2014, Cole Swindell released his Down Home Sessions EP and continued with four more, with the most recent, Down Home Sessions IV, dropped on November 24. Each EP features 5 songs, all written or co-written by Swindell, that other artists recorded. The latest EP contains the song “Beer in the Headlights, which was recorded by Luke Bryan for his 2013 album Crash My Party, and recently Swindell released an acoustic music video as part of the "Down Home Acoustic Sessions.”

Prior to his own record deal, the country star wrote “Beer In The Headlights" and admits it was difficult letting another artist record the song. “'Beer in the Headlights' was the song that—when Luke recorded it, it was right before I got my record deal—I said, 'Man, if I ever write another song I love this much, I've got to keep it,'" said Cole to Nash Country Daily. “Two months later, I wrote 'Chillin' It' and here we are."

The country sensation is going on his own headlining tour in 2018, called the Reason to Drink Tour, bringing along with him Lauren Alaina and Chris Janson.

1. “Roller Coaster”
