The Eagles have announced the first dates in their 2018 tour, a series of scattered dates ranging from March to July of next year. The tour lineup will feature founding member Don Henley on drums, longtime guitarist Joe Walsh and bassist Timothy B. Schmidt. Deacon Frey, the son of late great Glenn Frey, will be filling in for his father alongside country legend Vince Gill on guitar.
Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band are set to open four shows, two of which are in Florida, one in Denver and another in Minneapolis. James Taylor & His All-Star Band will be opening two East coast shows in July, one in Washington DC followed by Philadelphia. Chris Stapleton is the special guest in Arlington, Texas on June 23.
Joe Walsh had said to expect the band to play between 40-50 dates this year, meaning a large number of stops have yet to be announced. Keep an eye out for The Eagles in your city, more information on individual dates can be found here.
