Ryan Kinder has been establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with in the country music scene, all centered on his crazy love for music.
Growing up in Birmingham, Alabama, Kinder spent a lot of time trying to copy artists, such as John Mayer, but realized that was not what he was meant to do. “In my failure to sound like my idols, I was able to discover my own sound," says Kinder. “When I write, it has to be organic. You can't force inspiration. I write the music first and then allow the groove to guide the lyrics." While in college at University of Alabama, he spent a lot of time on the road between there and Nashville until he decided to drop out and move to Nashville permanently.
Kinder signed to Warner Music Nashville in 2014 after his CMA Fest performance. He has been making his name in country music since and, just last month, joined Frankie Ballard and Hunter Hayes for Warner's Pickin' on the Patio event.
In just in the past few years, Kinder played the Grand Ole Opry numerous times, opened for Zac Brown Band, and released a few singles, “Kiss Me When I'm Down" and “Close," which have both hit radio. He is currently working on a full album after going out on his second radio tour last year.
As a dedication to the late and great songwriter Andrew Dorff, Kinder made a very emotional music video for his song “Still Believe in Crazy Love," that features real-life stories of crazy love, which you can watch below.
Kinder even stripped down the track, bringing the raw, emotional root of the song to the forefront.
Currently, Ryan Kinder is gearing up for his winter headlining tour starting November 10 th.
