Luke Bryan is no stranger to using his status to give back, but his relationship with St. Jude Children's Hospital is a personal one. The country superstar is the father of two sons and is raising his nephew Til. According to the singer, it's his family that compels him toward service with St. Jude, “That's the main thing about being a parent: You tuck them in at night and you say your prayers that they go through this life safe and unscathed, and you certainly pray that you never have to deal with what the parents at St. Jude have to deal with."
Yesterday, Luke Bryan TV released the absolutely heartwarming video of Bryan's visit with St. Jude patients at the Grand Ole Opry. In one particularly sweet moment, the artist meets a young man dressed in a suit who inquires about the roses he is carrying. Bryan offers the boy a rose, which he accepts, and asks him where he's from. The response? An adorable, high pitched, “America."
