Jason Aldean will continue his aid in searching for a cure for breast cancer, announcing today that he will be holding the 12th annual Concert For The Cure during Breast Cancer Awareness month on October 20.
The benefit centered show will take place at his Louisville, Kentucky stop on the They Don't Know Tour. The country superstar will perform an entire live set with special guests Chris Young, Kane Brown and Dee Jay Silver. The night will end with a check presentation to Komen Kentucky, the local Susan G. Komen chapter. As he has done for over a decade now, Aldean will donate a portion of the total proceeds from his tour to the Susan G. Komen foundation.

Regarding his commitment to the cause, Aldean shares, “As long as I have the chance, I will do my part and raise awareness for this cause. My fans keep fighting the battle with this terrible disease along with us, and our dream is that nobody has to fight the disease anymore." In 2004, Aldean's best friend tragically lost his wife to the disease and the artist has been an advocate for research ever since. In a 2015 interview with Radio.com, the country star explains, “My best friend lost his wife to breast cancer and she was in her very early thirties. I was there. I watched it all go down. I watched him deal with that and her go through it and her leaving behind two daughters. That to me was sort of an eye-opener."
Fans will also have the opportunity to submit the breast cancer survivor in their life for a meet and greet with Aldean. Details can be found on the Susan F. Komen website.
