Ladies and gentlemen, get ready for your next wedding song! Blake Shelton's new single “I'll Name The Dogs" is a romantic and fun loving tune that talks about marriage and building a life with the one you love.
To help add to the song's romantic appeal, Shelton also released a music video that portrays him as a wedding singer performing at an unexpected union. During the video, we are led to believe it's a younger couple who's about to tie the knot, but when the bride and groom meet at the altar, it's revealed to be an elderly couple, which makes the song's message all the sweeter. Another surprising and sweet moment came when Shelton's girlfriend Gwen Stefani's two oldest children, Kingston and Zuma, also made a brief appearance dancing as wedding guests.

In a press release, the country star discusses how his latest single serves as a throwback to his earlier music. ““I'll Name the Dogs" is a bit of a throwback song for me," Shelton says in a press release. “It's traditional country with fiddle and steel, and I've got Jimmy Olander from Diamond Rio playing the guitar solo. It brings the sound back a little more traditional for a minute, which I felt like needed to happen musically for me."
For more on Shelton, watch him on this upcoming season of The Voice starting later in September. On September 12, the country singer will also be co-hosting the Nashville portion of the Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Harvey Relief concert.
