What's better than peach pecan whiskey? Peach pecan whiskey brought to you directly by Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line.
The charismatic duo have a lot to cheers to since kicking off their hugely successful Smooth Tour, featuring Nelly, Chris Lane, and The Backstreet Boys, as well as releasing a new music video for their single “Smooth." To help celebrate, Hubbard and Kelley brought some of their signature whiskey onto the set of Late Night With Seth Meyers yesterday (August 16) and by the looks of it had a great time chatting with the late night host.
Meyers took no time to bust out the duo's signature Old Camp Brand Peach Pecan Whiskey and get to talking about FGL's latest ventures. Meyers cued them up to discuss what it's like owning a new line of spirits, asking, “did you feel like there was a hole in the market for peach pecan whiskey?" For the country stars, it's as simple as this… “We drank it enough we decided, you know what, let's make our own."
He also asked what it's like traveling all over the country for shows and managing their lives in the meantime. And thank heavens he did, because Hubbard and Kelley revealed some pretty sweet stuff. In one particularly cool moment, Meyers asked how they were even able to snag such awesome acts like BSB and Nelly to electrify the stage with them for a whole tour. Kelley elaborated on the Backstreet Boys and exclaimed, “Dude, they were my first concert! Sixth grade, House of Blues, Orlando, Florida. I'll never forget. Crazy."
Later on during the interview, Kelly shares he played a little college ball and how much his custom treehouse in Nashville means to the group. The treehouse doubles as a studio and is just fifteen minutes from downtown Nashville. “That really speaks to what a great place Nashville is… because 15 minutes from here (New York) does not look like this."
