It might only be August, but we're already dreaming of a white Christmas and it looks like Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani will be helping bring the holiday spirit! Country music fans everywhere are in for a treat as Stefani is set to release a Christmas album this fall and Shelton will likely be featured on at least one of the songs.
Rumors have been floating around for several months that Stefani is working on a holiday album, but until now, it wasn't clear if it would get the green light. The recent track listing pictured above showcases a song called “You Make It Feel Like Christmas" that Shelton helped write. Pop acts Justin Tranter and Busbee are also credited on the track — one of four on the listing that they contributed to.
Today host Al Roker was so curious about the upcoming holiday album, he asked Brad Paisley who recently appeared on the show to ask for his thoughts. Paisley was thrilled about the idea of another Shelton/Stefani duet, and it's not the first one the couple has done. On Shelton's latest album, If I'm Honest, Stefani is featured on his track “Go Ahead And Break My Heart."
And, as an added bonus, the dynamic duo know how to dance together! Check their moves out for a lesson on how they want you to dance to their duets.
Clearly, you can expect some Christmas chemistry on this record. On top of “You Make It Feel Like Christmas," four other songs from the project have been registered — “My Gift To You," “Christmas Eve," “When I Was A Little Girl," and “Under The Christmas Lights."
