Garth Brooks is back at it! The country crooner and long-time gentleman is likely going to be paying for another avid fan's honeymoon. And this isn't just any old fan, it's his daughter!
In a heartwarming moment during Brooks' Saturday night show at The Forum in Los Angeles (July 29), his youngest daughter Allie hopped on stage to join the background singers and add her vocals into the mix of some of her father's most popular songs. Brooks gave Allie an epic introduction before the two performed together. “We've been singing together since 1996, believe it or not. This girl can also play a mean acoustic guitar. She's a great songwriter and great singer. She is from Owasso, Oklahoma. Give it up for Miss Allie Colleen!"
The Forum was also the ultimate venue for the country star to lead the audience in singing happy birthday to his beloved daughter.
And just when Allie thought her birthday couldn't get any better, her boyfriend Jonathan Roberts proposed to her as she returned backstage, all while her Dad performed “She's Every Woman." Jonathan Roberts wins best proposal ever, and Garth Brooks wins best father ever.
See Roberts pop the question among other cute photos of the couple in his Facebook post.
“She's anything but typical / She's so unpredictable / Oh but even at her worst it ain't that bad / She's as real as real can be."
“She's Every Woman" already held a lot of meaning for Allie Brooks, and now it holds even more. She's even covered the song herself.
The sentimental song was co-written by Victoria Shaw and Garth Brooks and was the first single on his Fresh Horses album. In October 1995, the tune landed at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles and Tracks chart.
This is just the latest move from Garth Brooks in a month where he and his wife Trisha Yearwood agreed to pay for a Texas couple's honeymoon and donated wedding gifts to a newlywed couple. He also helped with a gender reveal during another one of his Forum performances recently and promised to payed for the baby's college when she's old enough.
And now, the country crooner has turned his LA concert into an epic celebration of arguably one of the most special days of his daughter's life. Congratulations to Jonathan and Allie!
