Maren Morris is currently on her debut healing tour and with the first leg of her trek officially in the books, she's crowning the achievement with an amazing new music video for her hit “Drunk Girls Don't Cry."
The “My Church" singer is often praised for her talents as a live performer, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that Morris is centering the video around a live performance of the song. The music video features a blend of live footage of Morris — including fans singing along to her empowering track — with backstage scenes. It even shares close-ups of her gold-plated microphone, the initials engraved on her mic stand, and nods to the big milestones she's achieved lately (including her recent engagement to Ryan Hurd).

While Morris could've gone the traditional route for her music video, her talents as a performer and individuality tells an engaging story without needing to creating a video with a plot line. Even if she tried to film a traditional video with an active plot to accompany the music, we bet a lot of her team said “No way. You're doin this puppy live."
Recently, Morris joined Little Big Town for an incredible cover during their residency at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. The venue, affectionately known as the “Mother Church" of country music, was the perfect place for a preacher like Morris to help LBT shake the audience to the core. She took lead on an angelic a capella rendition of “Down To The River To Pray," a Southern Gospel classic. The beautiful five part harmony that ensued — orchestrated by Little Big Town — was a heavenly delivery that surely mesmerized the crowd.
The lucky fans sitting in the pews of the Mother Church got a really special treat with Morris' surprise visit — the latest in a series of surprise guests Little Big Town has invited on to the stage. And that wasn't the only surprise. Morris debuted her new pink hair-do, and the Brothers Osborne also came out to perform.
Morris has been riding high since her collab with Thomas Rhett on No. 1 single “Craving You" took off. Her Hero Tour will keep on truckin' when it picks back up for the second leg in October before going abroad for a set of shows in the UK in November.
Until then, she's going to continue lighting up the stage as she supports Sam Hunt on his 15 In A 30 Tour with fellow tour mate Chris Janson. Next up: August 10 at the Sleep Train Amphitheatre in San Diego, California.
