Kelsea Ballerini Performs ‘Legends’ On ‘Fallon’

The “Peter Pan" singer is in a New York state of mind lately. Ballerini blessed television screens across the country with appearances on Good Morning America set and The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.

You know you're onto something when you're saying good morning and good night to a huge chunk of America in the same day. Fans got a taste of why Ballerini is featuring on big-name shows like these when she delivered two different amazing performances of her hit song “Legends." You can find her GMA rendition here, and watch phenomenal performance from Fallon below.

Ballerini also took her Fallon appearance as an opportunity to reveal her upcoming album's title. And she did it unapologetically. No, really, the album's title is Unapologetically. Ballerini told GMA host Robin Roberts that “Legends" is all about “loss and love and life," and states that it's “what the whole record is about," making “Legends" the “first step to everything."

The fun didn't stop there for the quintessential country star. Making the most of her incredible day, Ballerini also played charades with Matt Bomer, an actor in White Collar, versus Fallon and Jessica Biel — Justin Timberlake's wife. The only reason we mention that is because it's what ended up deciding the contest.

Bomer and Ballerini struggled for the majority of the game, and especially on Ballerini's spirited, yet questionable, interpretation of a stripper. Bomer did get the answer — the Magic Mike movie he featured in — but the attempt made Fallon comment, “I don't know what kind of strip club you go to." However, when it came time for the last round, Ballerini correctly guessed “Cry Me A River" by Justin Timberlake based on Bomer's actions before their rivals could. Boom. Ballerini had beaten Biel at the hand of her husband's songwriting to cap off what sounds like one of the best days of her life.
