What happens in the back of the bus — stays in the back of the bus. Unless you're Toby Keith.
Toby Keith already has some of the wittiest country songs on the block, from “Red Solo Cup" to “Beer For My Horses," and he's about to drive the humor up even more with this new album filled entirely with songs that sound like they were written in the back of a tour bus. Oh wait. They were.
Straight from the bus' mouth, the new album is quintessential Toby Keith and is sure to leave you laughing up a storm. The laugh factory that is The Bus Songs releases on September 8, 2017.

Even for Toby Keith's standards, these songs are unorthodox. Seven of them are brand spankin' new, and the other five are awesome twists on past Toby Keith classics ("Runnin' Block," “Hell No," “The Critic," “Ballad of Ballad," and “Weed with Willie"). On this album, “Weed with Wille" is a previously unreleased live version of the 2003 tune.
You saw a little teaser into the humor that is going to characterize this album last month when Keith released the music video for “Wacky Tobaccy" — another smokin' video of country legend Willie Nelson lifting his spirits with Toby.
Songs like “Wacky Tobaccy" have also lifted Toby Keith into the Rolling Stones' list of the 100 Greatest Country Artists Of All Time. Keith sits at No. 96. Success like that is something you can only get with a rich baritone voice, a wild sense of humor, and inspiration from the back of a bus (substance-induced or not).
