Blake Shelton, Sam Hunt, FGL, & More Nominated For Teen Choice Awards

We got the first round in June, but as of yesterday, July 12, the second round of nominations for the Teen Choice Awards are finally here. And boy is it a star-studded list.

Sam Hunt and Florida Georgia Line already picked up two nominations a piece in June, and Blake Shelton and Carrie Underwood each scored one nomination in the first round. Now they have even more under their belt, and many other country stars have come into the fold.

After the second wave, Florida Georgia Line has four total nominations: Choice Country Artist, Choice Collaboration ("God, Your Mama, and Me" feat. BackStreet Boys), Choice Country Song ("God, Your Mama, and Me" once again), and Choice Summer Group. The two all-genre categories, Choice Collaboration and Choice Summer Group, place FGL with the likes of Kygo, Zedd, The Chainsmokers, Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, and other popular acts.

Sam Hunt is also up for four total nominations: Choice Country Artist, Choice Song: Male Artist ("Body Like a Backroad"), Choice Country Song ("Body Like A Backroad"), and Choice Summer Tour (15 in a 30 Tour).

Carrie Underwood is now up for a total of two of nominations. In June, she went up for Choice Country Artist along with Hunt, and is now in consideration for Choice Country Song for her featured role in Keith Urban's song “The Fighter."

Last, but not least, Blake Shelton is up for three nominations including Choice Country Artist, Choice Country Song ("Every Time I Hear That Song"), and Choice Twit (Choice Twitter Account). Other notable country stars that are up for Teen Choice Award nominations under their belt are Thomas Rhett for Choice Country Song ("Craving You" Feat. Maren Morris), Brett Young for Choice Country Song ("In Case you Didn't Know"), Brett Eldredge for Choice Snapchatter, and Luke Bryan and Kelsea Ballerini, who are both vying for Choice Country Artist.
