Jonathan Ryan Pardi
Jon Pardi was born and raised in Dixon, California where his musical gifts began to develop at a very young age. A 7 year old Pardi sang the Garth Brooks classic "Friends in Low Places" at his father's 30th birthday party, he picked up the guitar at the age of 10 and was writing songs by the age of 12, all of this before joining his first band at 14. These early years proved crucial and gave Pardi the confidence to form a duo with his friend Chase McGrew, playing bars and clubs in the area. The two picked up and moved to Chico, California together to attend Butte Junior College. There they played in a band named Northern Comfort for three years.
John Pardi's musical journey may have started on the West Coast but it was his move to Nashville, Tennessee in 2008 that allowed Pardi to truly blossom. To make ends meet he took a job as a lifeguard while still working on his music. The hard work paid off as only 18 months after moving to Music City, he signed his first publishing deal. The publishing deal allowed Pardi to build his network up as well as continue to strengthen his songwriting skills, this would prove most beneficial when he eventually played a showcase with his band that led to a record deal with Capitol Records Nashville. Soon after Pardi went to work on his debut album which spawned the lead single "Missin' You Crazy" before releasing the hit "Up All Night" which reached the Top Ten on the Billboard Country Singles Chart. His debut album Write You a Song was finally released in 2014 and hit No. 3 on the U.S. Top Country Albums chart. Pardi followed up the success of his debut with California Sunrise in June of 2016 and managed to hit No. 1 on the U.S. Top Country Albums chart.
