EARLY LIFE

Brandy Clark, country music’s edgy new face, grew up in a 900-person town called Morton, Washington. The singer-songwriter first got her hands on a guitar when she was nine years old but took a break from music to play basketball in high school. Clark went on to Central Washington University on a basketball scholarship but ultimately decided to drop out entirely. She received a degree from a community college and then moved to Nashville to pursue music at Belmont University.

MUSIC CAREER

For years, Clark has been recognized for her incredible songwriting abilities and has written for Sheryl Crow, Reba McEntire, Darius Rucker, Miranda Lambert, Kacey Musgraves and many other well regarded artists. She always wanted to pursue her own dreams of performing as well and began to explore this opportunity, opening for Sheryl Crow in 2012. In 2013 shewas chosen by CMT as one of the Women of Country. Her debut solo album 12 Stories was released in 2013 and made it to No. 28 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. After the success of her first album, Clark signed with Warner Bros. and released a second album, Big Day In a Small Town, in 2016 which included hit song "Girl Next Door." Clark is currently on tour and hoping to release more new music.
